Evensford Productions Ltd

Evensford Productions Ltd was formed in 1955 to administer H.E.’s literary estate.

'Evensford' is the nom de plume for Rushden in Northamptonshire where H.E. was born, and where he lived until he married and moved to Kent. Love for Lydia and The Bride Comes to Evensford are both set in the town and many local landmarks and businesses can easily be identified in these stories.
